How can we deliver jobs for generations to come? Hydro is how.

Working with the community long term.

Creating local jobs for local people is one of our main priorities. Over the life of the proposed projects we’ll need a wide range of skills and experience.

We want as many workers as possible to come from Queensland, and from within the energy sector. For those looking to get into the energy sector, our goal is to support job seekers with the right opportunities for skills and training.

From reservoir and underground-specific project managers to mechanical and electrical engineers, hydrology experts and land liaison advisors, and corporate support and service providers, there’s a wealth of career opportunities coming down the line.

Communities thrive and grow when there are abundant work opportunities, and we’ll be doing all we can to encourage local workers, businesses, suppliers, apprentices and school leavers to see a future for themselves in the area.

For the regions hosting the projects, there’s an opportunity to develop products and services required during the long operational phase of the pumped hydro projects as well as other renewable energy infrastructure.

Career-shaping opportunities.

To deliver the proposed projects that can assure Queensland’s transition to a clean energy future, we need the right people. Talented people are at the heart of our business and we’re always keen to connect with highly skilled, potential team members. Join our talent community to stay up to date with upcoming opportunities.
